Produced for the department of tourism New Brunswick, NS, this mayflower was used in their signage representing the Provincial flower. It is NOT painted, but made of niobium, a reactive metal which is electrically anodized to create the vivid permanent coloration. The leaves have a traditional verdigris patina over the copper.
