Concealed Gate

The left section of railing pictured here is the swing away section.

This photo shows the concealed hinge built into the post. Well, actually you can't see it and that's the point.

This is the latch mechanism.

Lifting the leaf section opens the latch and gate.  The leaf is spring loaded so the gate re-latches automatically on closing.
